Painting for fun
Adults: Do you have a secret hankering to paint but are stuck or don't know where to start?
Have you not picked up a paint brush for years, but would really like to?
How about an alternative get together with the girls, or boys?
Children: Do you want to do a 'proper' painting but you don't have the right stuff?
Why not let me help you?
I run guided painting sessions as public events at my home and in conjunction with The Acorn Wellbeing Centre.
We use just three colours, plus white and very, very occasionally, black. I teach you how to mix all your own colours.
The sessions are structured so that you can simply copy my example step by step, or you can develop your own style, making your own decisions about colour and composition.
The workshops have a relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere. Mutual admiration of artwork is a lovely positive part of the sessions - not something I suggested but certainly haven't discouraged!
Invariably people are delighted with the outcome and proudly hang their paintings at home or give to friends and relatives as special presents.
Watch this page for new events or book me to run a party or workshop just for you.
